What are some of the free services I can utilize as a member?
Please utilize the blog, events, articles, classified ads, photos, videos items. Also feel free to start forums and discussion in your area of expertise. We only ask that you maintain the inclusive and embracing community in mind - along with your honesty.
Do I have to own a business to be listed?
No. We do ask that no MLM list themselves, however this is a listing for the people about the people. If you can network with other women around the world and generate more attention for your business - it's a beautiful bonus
What was the inspiration for Women on the Verge?
Several years ago, many of us you will see on this site met on a wonderful site named Pleiades. We discussed business, balancing business and family lives. We utilized each other's services and many of us still do business together to this date... more than 10 years later.
After meeting all of these wonderful women on Pleiades, I opened the site, Women on the Verge (in 1999). We got so many requests for links, we were unable to keep up with demand, so we closed the site down. It is now open again in a Web 2.0 format and ready for your input.

Can I place classified ads free of charge?
Currently all ads are free of charge. We are still in the construction phase and would like to populate the site before deciding on ad rates, etc..
