Words, Words, Words
Words, Words, Words

We use words so freely, we forget they are a reflection of our state of being.

If only every word could come from our most holy self.

If only we knew their power.

If only we saw the blessings or curses they become as they roll off our tongues. Like seed in the ground, they grow under the soil and break through. Healing words become a garden. Condemning words become craggy, weed-infested land.

If only we practiced speaking just the words that line up with our intention.

Instead of "How dare you!" say, "No, that doesn’t work for me."

The second statement reflects the power and light within.

If the reply is, "Why don’t you want to…?" say, "I don’t need a reason why."

What if we reminded everyone we knew that the light of God is within them? What if we didn’t join them in conversation "about" the problem, but engaged them in conversation "about the growth?"

What if words became sacred to us?

Would we allow the vile and profane into our Spirit?

What if we deleted injury and pain to self and others from the lexicon?

I’ve noticed words have an energetic weight to them when spoken in alignment with our power and light. These words form the mortar of all goodness we are working to build in our lives.

Words, words, words … Be a user of them or be One with them.

The power of silence and the power of words seem so equal... Thank you for your thoughtful words Karen... as always, they make me stop and take a deep breath and think.

Exactly Karen, my sentiments to the "T." As I work daily listening to people on the telephone using vile and profane words, meant to injure and bully, I realize that the one they are hurting most by this is themselves.

    Beautifully stated
