WOTV Weekly - Why is there a crow on every page?

Why is There a Crow on Every Page?
June 7, 2013

Hopefully many of you have had a chance to check WOTV's makeover. It's summer time and it was time she got shiny and new (and got her software updated). We chose the color yellow for the background (good remember color) and utilize the new Press Kit's cover graphic for consistency in message.

I am loving WOTV's new look, and would love to hear your feedback.

One question I am sure to hear is. Why is there a crow on every page? There's a reason for that, and here it is:

According to Native American tradition, Crow represents LAW. Now that is not law as in law and order, it's Universal or Sacred Law, which is what I believe governs our community.

Here's a paraphrase from the book, Animal Voices to help explain.:

Every time you see the crow on WOTV, please pause and reflect on how you see the Universal laws in relation to the laws of humanity. Crow signifies a first hand knowledge of a higher order of right and wrong than is indicated in human culture. With Crow medicine, you peak as a powerful voice when addressing issues that for you seem out of harmony, out of balance, out of whack, or unjust.

Allowing your personal integrity to be your guide, your sense of feeling alone will vanish. You will emerge as you stand in your truth. Be willing to walk your talk, speak your truth, know your mission and balance past, present and future in the now. Become your future self now.

I hope that you feel inspired to express yourself on the new WOTV website. Share the Press Kit with friends, purchase an ad, and help us continue the message of what true sisterhood feels like as we walk our walk and talk our talk – today.

Thank you for being on the Verge,
Ana Lewis
