Positive breastfeeding

Love this!

A café in Cheltenham, Gloucetershire (UK) offers a break to breastfeeding mothers. A positive story offering a smile when all you seem to hear is negative reactions to breastfeeding. A reminder also that it is illegal to discriminate against breastfeeding mothers in the UK.

I'm proud to say I never had any negative encounters while out and about, mind you I was always discreet. And to think I was rather shy back then. Being a mother empowered me. To hell with it I thought, let's just do it.

Just to be clear I do not discriminate against bottle- feeding mothers, whatever their reasons. That said any mother who breastfed will remember the exhaustion brought on by the constant feeding. I'd already lost a lot of weight through pregnancy. Yeah, you read that one right. I lost a whole lot more just by breastfeeding, and I was as they say "eating like a horse".
