Why Occupy Me?
Remember last weekend. I saw the picture and then the video and I began posting. I could not stay silent.
"If you tolerate this..." sprang to mind.
What kind of human being does this? Pepper spraying repeatedly students prostrated on the ground?
What had they done? What happened to good old america and its freedom?
The right to protest?
So I started writing, it was going to be a post, it became a story.
Occupy Me is available on Amazon Kindle
This short story is seen through the eyes of a French student. Leaving her well-to-do family she loves her new life in America. When a scandal caused by the arrest of a French politician erupts, she’s forced to deal with a past event. French and American culture and views clash, she doesn’t want to be caught in the middle.
Don't ask me how my brain works! The story evolved as I wrote and I ended up writing about something else altogether, mixing the two.
Happy reading!
