Dear _______________ organization,

I have supported you physically, mentally, emotionally and financially for years. I believe in what you are aiming to do and your mission.

This letter is to ask you to please remove me from your mailing/emailing list.

The reason I am asking to be removed is because I no longer wish to be motivated by the anger and fear tactics you are employing to inspire action. These no longer work for me. I think that we can do better.

I prefer to be motivated by positive actions, inspired by good and enlisted to help out by emulating that good in our society.

For example, if you would like to enlist me to be against a war, that won't be too hard to do, but instead make it be about being FOR peace.
