AH THE JOYS OF LAUGHTER

Ah to laugh at one’s self, is the most freeing thing we can do as people. It probably supersedes anything else that makes us different then many of life’s creatures or that is at least what we have been told. I love to laugh at myself, I can truly be a goof, take the latest trip to see my sister. I’m going to take a shower at the hotel. The water is perfect. I step in the tub, but how do you make it come out of the shower head. I search and search, finally thinking the shower must be broken I get down in the tub on my hands and knees, head under the spout washing my hair. Just as I finish I look up. Low and behold there sitting on the spout is a little spigot that I pull up and the water comes shooting out of the shower-head. What a goof, I laughed and laughed at myself and then of course because it was so funny I had to tell everyone so they could enjoy the fun too.

Of course my goofs didn’t end there. I had to take the long-cut to my sisters; by passing her road and sailing three towns past her before I called I think I’m lost. Good thing they could come find me and lead me or I probably would have continued driving all night. It is no wonder my nickname was wrong-way Malta for awhile. I can probably get lost if I turned the corner too many times. Woops I have.

Marta, I had to laugh at your shower experience because it happened to me too, only I never did find how to turn it on. I ended up taking a bath and kneeling under the faucet to rinse my hair. If we can't laugh at ourselves, all is lost.

Lol, had to laugh at the shower bit. Sometimes design can be too clever. Big hugs Marta. Good thing we have laughter to carry us through the bad times. Love Xx

Thank you so much for getting the ball rolling, Marta. AND the laughs. AND for getting all wet and telling us about it. :)
